Coventry is a semi-rural town, and the feel of the town is often one of quiet There are several businesses some of which are rather unique. There are antique stores, horse farms, a famous herb farm, a vineyard and several restaurants.
Coventry boasts a large recreational
lake.
Notable historic points:
The birthplace of Captain Nathan Hale (1755-1776) who was executed as a spy
by the British at the age of 21 in September of 1776. His famous quote was
delivered before his execution , "My only regret is that I have but one
life to lose for my country!"
