Willington, CT

Willington is a pastoral country town that lies in close proximity to UConn and is 20 miles east of Hartford.   It is predominantly rural and residential in nature with a population of 6,117.  The town green is shown on the right.

Willington is part of Tolland county, and encompasses 33.5 square miles.  Commercially, it has a few restaurants (including the famous Willington Pizza), a U.S. Post Office, a bank, grocery store, antique stores and other shops.  There is a town pond (Hall Pond, shown on left) and a park.
