Chaplin : 2 Bedroom L-shaped Ranch, 6 miles to UConn. Our 2 Bedroom L-shape ranch is located on Tower Hill Rd in Chaplin. Its 6 miles to UConn. I've biked it many times. Its quiet, private and backs to 8+ acres of forest. Especially beautiful is the waterfall on our property. To see it hike about a 1/2 mile behind the house in the woods heading northeast and find the rocky ledge with the waterfall that feeds the Stony Brook Farm river. One side of the L has the living room and kitchen. The other side has the two bedrooms (one has 10/100-BaseT outlet for cable modem), full bath, and furnace room. Above the bedrooms is a gigantic attic (not suitable for living, but plenty of storage space). I estimate the living space is approx 1100 ft^2, (but please don\'t rely on these numbers). There is also a one car garage area and a greenhouse. The inside of the ranch shows well ... the kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrig, and dishwasher. Also in the kitchen area is a washer & dryer. The living room has a stone fireplace with wood paneling and built in bookshelves as well as windows that look out over the back lawn into the woods.
